Children’s Corner
By St Mary Administrator @ 11:39 AM :: 9 Views :: :: Child Ministry News
Last week’s answer: Paul was a tentmaker by trade. Tentmakers had a hard job at the time, they had to get the raw leather and cure it and then make it into leather and then sew it together so that it would be weather-proof.

This week’s question How did Paul become a believer in Jesus? (a) he was thrown from his horse (b) he was blinded (c) He was cured of blindness (d) a, b, & c.

This week Jesus talks about having faith the size of a mustard seed. The mustard seed is very small, it is about this size . tiny isn’t it? Yet it becomes a tree large enough to provide homes for birds. It may be hard to think about how something so small can become something large. This week talk about things you are certain will happen but you have no visible way to prove it. You put a CD in your player music will come out, your turn on the computer, information will be at your fingertips, the list could go on and on. God knows that we all sometimes have doubts, but he also knows that in our hearts we love him. Talk about God and your faith together and know that it only takes a mustard seed size bit of faith to grow into a huge tree that will help you to live a full and happy life.

Have a blessed week.

St. Vincent DePaul News
By St Mary Administrator @ 8:47 AM :: 7 Views :: :: Church News
Last week, in one 48 hour period, we received 4 requests for help with WE Energies bills, while in the entire month before that only one. We also helped one young mother get back into school which will enable her to climb out of poverty.

Women’s Lifeline, a non-profit group providing a temporary home for women released after incarceration for drug addiction, has asked our society to donate quite a bit of furniture for their home. We probably will. Care to comment on this? Call our president, Tom Klotz at 262-284-5725 or visit our next meeting on Tuesday August 5th at the St. Mary’s Parish Center. All are welcome.
