Help us make a child SMILE. Human Concerns has one international outreach a year, and it has always been during Lent. This year, we have chosen to raise funds for Operation Smile, an organization that performs cleft lip, cleft palate and other surgeries for facial deformities in children throughout the world. The short, 45 minute surgery, done by volunteer medical teams, will turn the donations into new smiles! The cost for each smile is $240, which covers the cost of medical supplies. How many smiles can we make? There is a “house” located at the church entrance for your Lenten contribution. Flyers about Operation Smile are located next to the Lenten House.
