Operation Smile
By St Mary Administrator @ 8:37 AM :: 263 Views :: Article Rating :: Human Concerns

Help us make a child SMILE. Human Concerns has one international outreach a year, and it has always been during Lent. Operation Smile is an organization that performs cleft lip, cleft palate and other surgeries for facial deformities in children throughout the world. The short, 45 minute surgery, done by volunteer medical teams, will turn the donations into new smiles! The cost for each smile is $240.00, which covers the cost of medical supplies. How many smiles can we make? There is a “house” located at the church entrance for your Lenten contribution. Thank you for your generosity in changing lives, one smile at a time. So far, after the 5th week of Lent, we have collected $3,710.63 for Operation Smile. That is 15 Smiles and 15 lives changed forever. Any questions, call Denise 262-284-6472 or Linda 262-284-7288.
