The confirmation of our high school juniors is not the end of their formation as Catholics. It is the beginning of their "adult" life in our faith. The United States Council of Catholic Bishops recognizes this in their document "Sons & Daughters of the Light: A Pastoral Plan for Ministry with Young Adults." Here the bishops give us 4 goals for ministering to young adults: connect them with Christ, with the Church, with the mission of the Church in the world, and with a community of their peers.
