In Jesus' opinion money itself was not bad, but how we use it can be.  Many good things can be done with money, including supporting our families, our Church, and aiding the poor. He wanted all of us to be careful not to allow money or the pursuit of money and things to become more important to us than God. This week Luke tells us of the importance of taking care of the poor.  Why not give a gift to someone this week that is needy, food for the pantry, help someone rake leaves, or give a few moments of your time to someone who is lonely? This weeks question: Who wrote the Gospels in the Bible?  Luke, Matthew, Mark, and a. Peter  b. Paul  c. Ezra d. John.  Look for the answer next week.
