Children’s Corner 10/28/07

The answer for last week’s question is c. the month of October is the month of the rosary.
November 1 is All Saints Day. The gospel reading for that day is Matthew 5: 1-12, the Beatitudes. Jesus tells us how to be blessed – happy in this gospel.
The saints have the traits Jesus talked about, they were kind, generous, courageous, prayed often, were willing to be persecuted for their faith, and assisted those in need. We are all part of the Communion of Saints, all of us both the living faithful and the dead. This week talk as a family about each of your favorite saints, pick out what you like best about that saint. Discuss ways each of you can become more like that saint.
