Respect Life Month: Thank you so very much for the 6 large bags of baby items and $258 for the Pregnancy Help Center of Milwaukee. So many young lives will be touched by this generosity.
House of Peace Clothing Drive: Hundreds of bags of warm clothing and blankets were donated by parishioners. They were overwhelmed with your outpouring from this clothing drive.
St. Nick Toys: Thank you for your generous donations of small toys for St. Joseph’s Parish in Virginia. Two large boxes of toys including more than 100 matchbox cars and cash were donated! The toys will be distributed at the annual St. Nick’s St. Joseph’s holds each year. The donation of money was used to help defray the cost of shipping. Thanks again for your generous support.
Yarn Drive: The yarn drive was a huge success, as well, thanks to all of you. Once we receive the first batch of blankets from the Waupun prisoners, several of the blankets will be displayed. This is a never-ending project, so yarn will always be needed. Just leave in the back of church.
Poinsettias for the Homebound: Each year, as part of Advent, parishioners have the opportunity to share with the homebound of the parish. Next weekend, envelopes will be placed in the pews, for donation of money, to be used towards the purchase of poinsettias for the Homebound of our parish. Each poinsettia costs $4, but any amount will be greatly appreciated. On December 17th-18th, parishioners will be invited to deliver these poinsettias to homebound members of the parish. If you know of a parishioner that needs to be placed on the list, please call Mary McHugh or the parish office.
