This week is the second week of Advent. It is time to light the second purple candle on the Advent wreath. After the candle is lit read about the Visitation (Luke Ch. 1 39-45) for your prayer perhaps you could use Mary’s Song of Praise following the reading Mary’s Song of Praise verses 46-55. Talk about how happy Mary and Elizabeth were because they were going to have children and tell your children how happy you are to be parents. Last week’s answer (c) Christ the King. This week’s question Why do we make the Sign of the Cross with Holy Water when we enter church? (a) to remind us of reconciliation (b) to remind us of our baptism (c) to show we are in a holy place.
