It is the New Year a time for resolutions, why not make a family resolution to pray together once a day. It does not need to be a long prayer, a short prayer before meals, a good night prayer, or a prayer while you are in the car going from one activity to another. Of course the act of attending Mass each Sunday is also a great way to pray as a family. Prayer can bring your family closer together, it is your connection to God and it can cement a habit for your children that will give them strength and comfort throughout their lives.
