Poinsettia plants---Parishioners, the Port Catholic Student council, and a Girl Scout Troop delivered 156 poinsettia plants to local Catholics who are homebound or in a nursing home . And some parishioners went to great lengths to make the Advent visits—going back several times! The cash donations received from parishioners was absolutely tremendous.

Baby Bottle Update---The final total on the baby bottle project was $8,010.32. More bottles still trickle in. It is difficult to find words to thank you for your extreme generosity. Thanks to parishioners crocheted and knitted wonderful little layette items. Five large bags of baby items along with the baby bottles, went to the Pregnancy Help Center of Milwaukee, for Respect Life Month.

Yarn Drive—Several van loads of yarn, collected from both parishes, were delivered to the Pregnancy Help Center, who took them to the Waupun Correctional Institute, for the prisoners to make baby layette items for the Help Center. The yarn drive is an on-going project—keep collecting it. Did you see the feature article, in the December Catholic Herald, about our yarn drive?

St. Nick toys—Five boxes of new toys were collected and sent to our sister parish, St. Joseph's, in Virginia, for St. Nick's, December 6th. That was a lot of great shopping done by parishioners.

School Supplies for the Food Pantry—Over 900 school items were donated by parishioners, to the Food Pantry, at the beginning of the school year.

Thank you so very much, and many blessings to all of you, in the New Year!
