Last week’s answer is (d) Good News. This week’s question is The traditional prayer said on the crucifix when beginning to pray the Rosary is (a) Act of Contrition (b) the Apostle’s Creed (c) a Glory Be (d) the Hail, Holy Queen.

This is the first Sunday of Lent take some time to think about what Lent means to you. It is such an important time in our church. It is a time to prepare for Easter, Jesus gave everything to us, even his life so that we could have salvation.

This week decide what you can do as a family to observe Lent. Perhaps you can decide as a family not have desert one or two times a week, or not to go to a favorite restaurant during Lent, take the money saved and donate it to your favorite charity or put it in the collection plate at church. Decide to pray together each day or attend the Stations of the Cross as a family. There are many things you can do. Stop by the table outside the Religious Ed Office at St. Mary’s for more ideas. Have a blessed week!
