Cluster Meeting Minutes
By St Mary Administrator @ 9:12 AM :: 241 Views :: Article Rating :: Church News

On January 16th the inaugural meeting of our three parish cluster, the Catholic Association of Port Washington-Saukville, also known as CAPS, was held at St. Peters. CAPS consists primarily of the pastors and parish council members of St. Mary’s, St. Peter of Alcantara and Immaculate Conception in Saukville. The purpose of CAPS is to foster greater cooperation among the three parishes and to ensure our parish community is prepared for whatever God has in store for us in the future. Our parish consultant, Eva Diaz, facilitated the meeting and shared success stories from other clusters within Southeastern Wisconsin. The committee discussed areas where there is already collaboration—adult ministry, religious education, and the sharing of a pastoral associate. The committee then discussed ideas on where the parishes can work together more closely. CAPS meets again on April 16th. Stay tuned for more information as our cluster begins this exciting journey. If you have ideas on how to bring our three parishes closer together please talk to one of your parish council members.
