Last week’s answer: We say the Apostle’s Creed at the Beginning of the Rosary. This week’s question: The place where Jesus was crucified is called (a) Calvary (b) Golgotha (c) the place of the Skull (d) all of these
This week we learn about the Transfiguration in the Gospel. Jesus took Peter, James, and John to a mountain top. The apostles see him “transfigured” , they can see light in him, around and through him. They are seeing the light of God shining in him. The light showed them and us that Jesus is God’s son, that he had done all that he was supposed to do. Though his work, actions and life he had shown what it means to truly be a child, the Son of God.
As a family this week, think about the things you do to show you are a child of God. Think of at least one thing about yourself and one thing about each member of your family, share these with each other.
Stop by the table in front of the Religious Ed. Office for project ideas to complete with your children for Lent.
