By St Mary Administrator @ 12:15 PM :: 46 Views :: :: Church News

-Boilers-$8700 has been raised to date. The new boilers are projected to save $4300 annually in energy savings.
-Upgrades are being made to the lighting in the school and parish center, which will reduce energy consumption. Much of the cost for the upgrades is covered by rebates.
-Stewardship-$322,000 has been pledged, and the parish needs $700,000 to operate at current levels. 71% (or 686) parishioners have not responded to the stewardship drive from last fall. The PC recommends that the Stewardship Committee make phone calls to those that have not made a pledge.
-Marion Heights- Due to numerous obstacles, any further investigation or legal action will not take place.

Other Business: District 10 Report- In June, 2009 the three parishes of Port/Saukville will be down to two priests for the three parishes. The report also recommends exploring ways in which all three parishes can work together. CAPS next meeting will be April 16.
