Last week, in one 48 hour period, we received 4 requests for help with WE Energies bills, while in the entire month before that only one. We also helped one young mother get back into school which will enable her to climb out of poverty.
Women’s Lifeline, a non-profit group providing a temporary home for women released after incarceration for drug addiction, has asked our society to donate quite a bit of furniture for their home.
