The answer for last week’s question is Mark. Mark was one of the four Evangelists, but he was not one of the Twelve Apostles.
This week’s question is: Which feast is celebrated on the last Sunday of the Church year? (a) Holy Trinity (b) Corpus Christi (c) New Year’s Eve (d) Christ the King
This week Jesus is asked, “Which commandment is the greatest? Jesus once again refused to be tricked into making a statement that would be incorrect. Instead of saying that one of the commandments was more important than the other he said. This is the commandment Love God with all your heart, all your soul and all you mind, secondly love your neighbor as yourself.
Short and simple, if we put God first in our lives we will make decisions based on whether it will help us love God and God’s people more. This week talk about ways you can make God the center of your decision making, and how you can put your love of God into action.
Saturday November 1st is All Saint’s Day. Write the name of your patron saint or your favorite saint on a heart. Put the heart on a mirror so that each time you look in the mirror you can be reminded of loving God and following the Great Commandment.
Have a blessed week.
