Last week’s answer: Our Liturgical Year begins today, November 30, the First Sunday of Advent. This week’s question What color is the candle we light today on the Advent Wreath?
Today is the first Sunday of Advent. It is a good reminder to all of us that not only is it time to celebrate, but it is also time to prepare. Just as you take time to get ready for family celebrations by cooking, baking, and cleaning, we need to prepare for Jesus coming as well. We can do this by, praying, giving, and cleaning. Pray each day, decide to give something before Christmas to a worthy cause, and clean by trying to get rid of a bad habit. You will be ready to welcome Jesus into your hearts.
