Carols for A Cause

The First Annual “Carols For A Cause” is scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2008 beginning at 7:00 PM at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral 139 S Madison St. in Green Bay. Chris Forslund, local concert organist, will lead this event which will consist of well-known Advent and Christmas organ selections, scripture readings, and congregational hymns. There will be no charge for this event, but a free-will offering will be accepted with the funds distributed equally among St. Vincent de Paul, Paul’s Pantry, and The Salvation Army. These organizations assist many individuals and families each year, particularly during the holiday season. With the current economic pressures, it is anticipated that the need for the services provided by these agencies will be greater than normal.
