Maybe BOOMERANGing is the answer - giving back by volunteering. One group to try is the Friendship Club. Consider attending one or two Friendship Club meetings to see what we do. This group is a supportive community that mixes faith-sharing and social-sharing. Here developmentally disabled adults are paired with non-handicapped peers in an ecumenical bible study setting. Maybe you’d like to be part of this mutual ministry which happens the 2 & 4 Wednesdays during the school year at St. Peter of Alcantara's Parish Center. The Boomerang Program
THE BOOMERANG PROGRAM is a formal program which coordinates volunteer opportunities in Ozaukee County - encouraging us to give something back to our community. You can pick up one of their brochures at the church entrance.
