This week’s question What did Jesus tell the leper to do?
Today’s gospel talks about the healing of a leper. Jesus chose to heal the leper, he did not have to. Actually, the leper really had many reasons to believe Jesus would ignore him. The man had leprosy and was considered unclean, and anyone that touched him would also be considered unclean. Jesus was brave and compassionate when he healed this man. After this miracle people began to seek out Jesus, for cures and to hear his words.
This week as a family think about how you are brave and compassionate toward others. Remember what we do reflects our faith. It need not be a huge act, skipping a movie, skipping a night out and donating the money to a charitable cause will show your compassion to others.
Have a blessed week.
