Last week’s answer. Jesus told the leper to go and show himself to the priests and make and offering, but not to tell other people.
This week’s question: Who is Jesus tempted by while he is in the desert?
This week we learn that Jesus spent forty days in the desert. This begins Jesus’ struggle and leads up to his death on the cross. There are other events that have the number 40 in them in the Bible. The Israelites wandered for forty years in the desert after they were led from slavery, Elijah wandered for forty days and nights on his way to Horeb. We remember the importance of these events when we observe the 40 days of Lent.
During Lent we renew our Baptismal Promises. As a family talk about how you can live the promise of living as children of God.
