This week’s question What did the people shout as Jesus rode into Jerusalem? This Sunday is the first day of Holy Week. Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil are called the Triduum.
Two gospels will be read today, we hear one proclaimed before the procession of the palms. The second is read at the regular time during the readings. Since the gospel is long today it may be difficult for your child to focus. This week as a family why not read the gospels again at home. Sunday Mark 11:1-10, Monday Mark 14:1-11, Tuesday Mark 14:12-26, Weds. Mark 14:27-52, Thurs. Mark 14:53-72, Fri. Mark 15:1-41. Or you could recite the Stations of the Cross with your child. If you would like a Stations booklet or would like to borrow a bible please stop in the Religious Ed. Office at St. Mary’s or call 262-284-6472.
