Memorial Day Masses

Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries will be hosting a Mass for the Faithful Departed which will be celebrated on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2009 at 10:00 AM at all eight Archdiocesan Cemeteries: Historic Calvary (see below), Holy Cross, Mount Olivet and St. Adalbert/ Holy Trinity in Milwaukee; All Saints in Pleasant Prairie; Resurrection in Mequon; and St. Joseph in Waukesha. Special religious commemorations and patriotic observances will be conducted at each location. Historic Calvary Cemetery: Auxiliary Bishop William P. Callahan, Diocesan Administrator, will preside and preach at the foot of Chapel Hill. Sons of Union Civil War Veterans & Auxiliary are sponsoring this Civil War Memorial Day Observance. [In case of inclement weather, the Calvary Mass will move inside to St. Vincent Pallotti East.] Come, to pray and remember anytime over the Memorial Day Weekend.
