Reclaiming a Founder

Will be held Sunday-Saturday, June 14-20, 2009. Dominic de Guzmán lived during religious and civil upheaval, and responded with the creation of a “new thing,” the Order of Preachers. In continual silence we’ll revisit Dominic’s life, consider themes in his character and spirituality, and confront the questions he raises for us today. Morning prayer will be contemplative; evening prayer will be preached, based on Dominic’s Nine Ways of Prayer. All Dominicans welcome. Presented by Suzanne Noffke, OP. $425.
