Got Computer Skills?

Want to help the unemployed? Job searches, job applications, sending of resumes, etc. are often being done over the internet. But, not everyone is computer savvy. So there is a need to help unemployed folks with things like setting up an email account or using the internet to do a job search or even with typing up a resume and emailing it to a potential employer.

Can you help with this? We would work collaboratively with Niederkorn Library in Port and Oscar Grady Library in Saukville. Each library would set aside one or two 2-hour time slots. During these times one of our parishioners would be there to help adults who need to learn some of these job-related computer skills. Adults would sign up at the library for this tutoring help. We would like to do this for a trial period of 4 – 6 weeks starting after July 4.

Time slots will be in the afternoon and evening hours. A schedule will be made out so that if something comes up, you will be able to trade times with another parishioner. Please contact Mary McHugh if you are interested in helping with this. 262-284-4266 or afministry@hotmail.com
