From July 26 to August 23, we will be reading from the sixth chapter of the Gospel of St. John. This chapter has 71 verses, one of the longest chapters in the New Testament. In order to grasp the importance of this chapter, I have planned a series on the meaning of this important text. This is Our Lord’s teaching on the Eucharist. There are many ways to look at this. I hope to deepen your understanding of the importance of the Eucharist in the life of the Church. The titles are as follows:
July 26: The Eucharist as worship of God by the People of God.
August 2: Passover—Good Friday—Mass connection
August 9: We are Fundamentalists—The Our Father
August 16: We are students of St. Thomas Aquinas
August 23: The book of Revalation and the Eucharist
