Song of Mark

Plan now to attend the performance of Song of Mark on Saturday, August 15 at 7:00 PM at St. Mary's. There is no charge for this performance of Marty Haugen's musical version of St. Mark's gospel. We perform this work every three years during the year when we read from the Gospel of St. Mark at Mass. Mike Haggenjos sings the role of Jesus, Ralph Smith, Bill Henkle and Bryant Goebel sing the roles of Peter, James and John, Bob Goebel sings John the Baptist, and Anna Freier, Linda Guokas and Susan Kruske sing the roles of three women whose stories are significant in the Gospel.
Invite your friends--this isn't "Catholic" music, it is "Gospel" music.
