I’m going on vacation for 10 days. I’m personally care-giving for my parent who lives with me but cannot go along. Can Cedar Gardens provide respite for us?
Yes. Respite is a short term “day-to-day” rental of a furnished assisted living apartment. The length of stay is determined by the need for the stay. Respite can be as short as 3 days and as long as 3 months. All basic care needs including three nutritious meals daily, laundry, house-keeping, fitness/social life enrichment, emergency response and cable TV are included. More personalized cares such as dressing, transfers and medication distribution can also be managed during a short respite stay. Non-ambulatory individuals using wheelchairs are also welcome.
