Festival:
We had a great celebration last Saturday at the lakefront for our combined parish festival. 685 people were at Mass, music was good; we had a brief sprinkling with holy water and a cool lake breeze. I have no figures yet on the money aspect of the festival, but it will be interesting to see how the changes affected the money raised for our parishes.
Faith In Our Future update:
As of July 31, 2009 $177,683.34 has been pledged or paid to the Faith In Our Future capital campaign. That amount has come from 121 donors out of a possible 911 for a participation rate of 13%. This is a three-year campaign so you still have lots of time to participate in the important campaign that supports Catholic education in our Archdiocese as well the projects in our parish. Pledge cards for the Faith In Our Future capital campaign are in the church gathering area or at the parish office.
