“Catholic” May Not Be Catholic
By St Mary Administrator @ 3:55 PM :: 213 Views :: Article Rating :: Church News

There is often, intentional or not, confusion created when people encounter groups or places that use the title, “Catholic,” or describe services in a way that could lead to that identification. Questions occur often as to whether or not these groups are part of the Roman Catholic Church and affiliated with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. New groups surface periodically, but of particular concern are those appearing to target Milwaukee’s Hispanic community. The following is a list of various groups, including the name(s) associated with the group if known: Chapel of St. Benedict (Emmaus House Priory), Church and Chapel Funeral Home, St. Hugh of Lincoln Church, St. Jude Thaddeus, St. Pius V Chapel and Academy, Jesus Our Shepherd, St. Monica Mission, Our Lady of the Rosary, and Cathedral of the Angels.
