Grateful thanks for the food. About 25 hungry volunteer workers were served last Saturday at the Habitat build, in Port, and they had quite a spread with your generosity of food, water, and cash donations! The volunteer workers were most appreciative, and said it was the best meal they ever had ever, since the one we sponsored in June! The menu included BBQ pulled pork, sloppy joes, chunky applesauce, German potato salad, sliced refrigerator pickles, bread stuffing, and frosted cookies---all homemade by parishioners. Other parishioners purchased the remainder of the lunch items or provided cash donations. Many thanks, Human Concerns Committee
