International Day of Climate

Saturday, October 24, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, there will be a rally to observe the International Day of Climate Action, sponsored by the Ozaukee Community Awareness Forum, in the community room of Niederkorn Library, Grand Ave., Port Washington. Featured will be “The Raging Grannies” from Madison, singing songs that will amuse and challenge us; a presentation by Katie Walter of Clean Wisconsin on climate change and why we need to work toward reducing pollution to 350 PPM, and an adaptation of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss, entitled “Unless…”. The rally will end at the lakefront with a picture taken for international distribution. Please join with people form countries around the world in working toward a U.N. treaty on climate change in Copenhagen in December.
