Catholic & Muslim Engagement in Civic Life, Sunday, October 25, 2009, 7:30 PM -9:00 PM, Islamic Society of Milwaukee, 815 W. Layton Avenue, Milwaukee. Speakers are Dr. Irfan Omar, Marquette University, Department of Theology, and Mr. Michael Hovey, Archdiocese of Detroit, Office for Catholic Social Teaching. The event is a presentation of the Midwest Dialogue of Catholics and Muslims, a dialogue of the Islamic Society of North America and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The program is hosted by the Muslim-Catholic Women’s Dialogue of Milwaukee. Free and open to the public with a reception to follow.
