Thanks for Supporting College Connection

Thanks to all the parishioners who so generously donated items and money to support our College Connection ministry. This semester we sent 65 boxes to our college students as they studied for finals! A special thanks to Allen Edmonds for donating shoes boxes and Girl Scout troop 8382 and our other generous helpers for packing the boxes in record time.
Here are some thanks we received from our college students: “Please thank everyone for sending the care package and prayers. It was an awesome surprise to get a package during this stressful, busy week. Thank you so much.” “Thank you again for the gift of goodies you send out for finals week. It is great to see that people back home are thinking about me during exam week. Sometimes it is nice to take a break from studying and snack on some of the goodies you send. It is a great stress reliever. Hope to see some of you when I come home in late December. Otherwise, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!”
