Archdiocesan Respect Life Mass – January 22, 2010. The U. S. Bishops have called for January 22 to be observed as a national day of “penance for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion, and of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life.” The Archdiocesan Respect Life Mass will be held on January 22 at St. John Vianney Parish, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, WI. Services will begin at 6:30 PM with a Rosary for Life lead by seminarians from St. Francis de Sales Seminary (in honor of the Year of the Priest), and proceed with Mass at 7:00 PM, with Archbishop Jerome Listecki presiding. A reception will follow. Come join in fellowship with Catholics from around the Archdiocese as we pray for the protection of the sanctity and dignity of all human life.
