Haiti Collection

At this time of loss, our prayers are with the Haitian people as we stand with them in solidarity. I am sure that many of your parishioners will want to add financial support to their prayers. As Christians, all of us have a great responsibility even in these difficult economic times, to assist those who are suffering even more than we, and so my hope is that all our parishes and schools do something to assist those in such dire need.
To help you reach out to the people of Haiti, I have asked World Mission Ministries to receive your financial donations. 100% of these will be distributed as follows: one-third to Catholic Relief Services for immediate relief, one-third to the Haitian parishes and organizations such as those mentioned earlier, and one-third to be held for later distribution to meet long term needs that will arise in the months that follow.
