Sacrament of the Sick Communal Anointing

Next Sunday, after the 9:00 AM Mass, Fr. Pat will anoint those who are sick from age, an anticipated surgery, or serious sickness. You are asked to stay after Mass and come and sit in the pews in front of the church. This Sacrament is no longer given when a person is on deaths’ doorstep. It can be given when the health is threatened by sickness. Please remember that this Sacrament was also called Extreem Unction and Last Rites. Fr. Pat and Fr. Tom have decided that this will be done in all three parishes on a monthly basis. The Anointing on May 30 will be at St. Peter’s Parish. If you have questions about this, please call Fr. Pat or Fr.
