Interfaith Day at Miller Park
By St Mary Administrator @ 9:39 AM :: 126 Views :: Article Rating :: Events

Interfaith Day at Miller Park will be held, Tuesday, July 27, Brewers-Reds game, at 7:10 PM. With half-price tickets and colorful $4 Interfaith T-shirts, the Interfaith Conference hopes to make a strong visual statement, increase public awareness, celebrate its 40th anniversary and build momentum for its 25th annual CROP Hunger Walk on Milwaukee’s lakefront. It’s also the Brewers’ 40th anniversary year. If enough people attend, Episcopal Bishop Steven Miller, Chair of the Interfaith Conference Cabinet, will get to throw out the first pitch and an interfaith choir might get to sing the national anthem. Nonperishable food will be collected at the ballpark for the Hunger Task Force. Order t-shirts & special Interfaith-section game tickets by the June 15, deadline online at www.interfaithconference.org. Call 414-276-9050 for details. If you plan to come in a group, have one individual make all of your reservations in order to insure seating in the same area. The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is a founding member of the Interfaith Conference.
