This is the third week of Advent, today we light the pink candle and Father will be wearing pink or rose vestments. The rose candle signifies hope, we are more than half way to Jesus' birthday. From December 17 thru the 24 the O Antiphons will be sung this is a way the church expresses its excitement about the coming of Jesus' birthday. Think of a way to show your excitement, bake cookies for a friend, send a card to someone you love, or send it to a nursing home. The card can be given to someone who doesn't have a family.
