The District 10 Christian Formation ministers invite all PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, TEACHERS, CATECHISTS AND ANY-ONE INTERESTED IN THE WELL-BEING OF ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL CHILDREN to It’s Time: Addressing Mental Health of Children presented by InHealth Wisconsin on TUESDAY, JANUARY 25th* from 7-9PM at ST. JOSEPH PARISH, 1619 Washington St., Grafton.
Mental health is a strong predictor of school success. Parents and educators have daily opportunities to positively impact the mental health of young children. To do so, they must understand the clues that a child’s behavior gives about their current mental state, the impact of mental illness or trauma on a child within the context of their culture and what elements are essential to supporting mental well -being and learning. Through the use of film case studies from real classrooms and stories from school personnel and parents, participants explore topics in a safe and engaging environment.
Clock Hours Available. Sponsored by District 10 Parishes. For more information contact your Parish Christian Formation Office *If cancelled due to weather, the alternate presentation date will be Tuesday, February 1st
