Today in the First Reading, Isaiah talks about people that had been overcome by gloom because they had been conquered by their enemies. But, Isaiah also promises that the power of God is stronger than the power of the gloom.
Think about the gloomy weather we often have at this time of year. Imagine the bright sunshine that takes away the gloom. Doesn’t it make you feel bright and cheerful? Sometimes we feel sad and gloomy because of things going on in our lives. Jesus wants us to know that the darkness will never come to stay in our lives because he is with us always.
Think about how you can let Jesus’ light shine in your life.

Have a Blessed Week!
