FARMERS MARKET

The Port Washington Winter Farmer’s Market will be held on Saturday January 29th from 8 to Noon at the 1st Congregational Church, 135 North Webster Street. Many vendors from the summer farmer’s market plus several new vendors will be selling beef, pork, yellow perch, lettuce, bread, pastries, preserves, sorghum and honey, maple syrup, chips and dips, cheese, butter and yogurt, all locally grown or produced.
The market will also be open on Saturdays February 26 and March 26 (all the last Saturdays of the month). There will be entertainment provided by Bantry Bay, an Irish band.
The market is sponsored in partnership with Port Washington Main Street, Port Fish, LTD. (www.portfish.org) and the 1st Congregational Church Sustainability Committee.
