This week Jesus says, “You have heard people say, ’Love your friends and hate your enemies’” and then challenges us to love both our enemies and our friends. Wouldn’t our world be different if everyone took Jesus’ words to heart? Next time someone does something mean to you, try saying a prayer for that person instead of saying something mean back. We may not be able to change the whole world, but we can change part of it, and that is a start.
