2011 marks the 100th anniversary of the building of St. Nicholas Church (now chapel), Dacada, Wisconsin. To celebrate this occasion, the Luxembourg Cultural Center will be opening a special exhibit featuring the 1911 St. Nicholas Church on Wednesday, June 8, from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Center located at 100 Peter Thein Avenue, Belgium, Wisconsin. The exhibit will run through July 31 in the Center's Acuity Exhibit Area.
The Cultural Center's special exhibit is a prelude to the anniversary celebration which will take place at St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada on Sunday, July 17, at 11 a.m. This celebration will include a polka Mass, vintage baseball game, food and refreshments, heritage displays, and vintage farm equipment.
