Prayers For Our Kansas City Youth Mission Trip

59 students and chaperones from area parishes will be traveling to Kansas City, KS from July 23-29 to attend Catholic Heart Work Camp. They will be involved in a variety of projects such as painting, gardening, working with children, sorting clothes and cleaning. They will be helping agencies that help others and work directly with the less fortunate. These mission trips have proven to be a life changing experience for many of the youth and adults involved. We ask that you pray for all involved to have a safe trip and that the experience will touch the hearts of all concerned: those who are serving and those who will be served.
Please remember to keep the mission trip participants in your prayers!
Let us entrust the mission trip participants to the hands of the Lord. Let us pray that He will give them a prosperous journey and that they will experience God’s own goodness in the hospitality they receive and bring the Good News of salvation to all those they meet; that they will be courteous towards all; that they will greet the poor and afflicted with kindness and know how to comfort and help them. Amen.
