Choir

As the summer draws to a close it is time to think about choir. St. Mary's choirs are very important to our worship life, and never more so than this coming year as we implement some changes in the translation of the Mass which we have used for 40 years. The choirs not only sing on their own to enrich the liturgy, they also lead the congregation in their singing. The St. Mary's Choir is open to those in 8th grade and older. It rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm beginning August 31, and sings at the 9:00 am Mass each week. The St. Mary's Girls' Choir practices Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm, beginning September 7, and sings about twice a month at the 11:00 am Mass. The St. Mary's Boychoir rehearses every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm beginning September 6. These two choirs are open to girls and boys from 3rd grade. Consider whether you enjoy singing and want to contribute to the worship at St. Mary's. For further information call Drew Rutz at 262-284-5771.
