Respecting Life...Through Human Concerns
By St Mary Administrator @ 1:25 PM :: 59 Views :: Article Rating :: Human Concerns

Baby Bottle Project
October is Respect Life Month and Human Concerns is again participating in the Baby Bottle Project, which was so well received the last several years. This weekend, after Mass, pick up a baby bottle, fill it with your family's spare change over the next month and return it at the end of October. Make this a family event! The proceeds will benefit the Pregnancy Help Center of Milwaukee/Women's Care Center, which helps women in a crisis pregnancy situation. Your spare change can save babies and YOU WILL make a difference.

Yarn Drive
Pregnancy Help Center of Milwaukee/Women's Care Center, continue to partner with the inmates at Waupun, who are now making booties, blankets, sweaters, christening gowns, for babies and those moms in need. They are looking for any kind of yarn type or color - no matter how new or old it is - partial skeins OK, too!! Beautiful baby blankets have been made by these men, who now see a purpose in Life! Leave yarn in the church entrance, by the crib or contact Linda, for pick up. Many thanks and blessings. If you have any questions, please contact Linda at 284-7288 or linda.gottlieb@sbcglobal.net. Stop and see the poster at the church entrance, listing many of the undertakings that the tri-parish Human Concerns Committee have recently facilitated. It is through your generosity, that we have been able to do all of these projects. Thanks to all of you!
