Last weekend, and group of parishioners came and helped to cut down the pine tree behind the parish center. Thank you Dan Paulin, Mike Linstroth, Pat Jentges, Gene Meyer, and Isaac Kapp for helping with project. A very special thank you goes to Jerry Kapp who made this all possible. Estimates for having this tree removed ranged $500 to $1000 and because they donated their time and talent, we didn't have to spend the money. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

School Subsidy

St. Mary’s ended the last fiscal year owing over $46,000 to the school for the subsidy. Port Catholic, while already running on an extremely tight budget, really suffered because St. Mary’s couldn’t afford to send the $225,000 promised to the school last year.

Sunday Radio Mass Still on AM 920

Milwaukee’s Classic Country Station AM 920, The “WOLF,” replaced WOKY on September 18th. The biggest change people will notice is the music. The WOLF will feature classic country music whereas WOKY featured the oldies.
Archbishop Dolan’s Sunday Radio Mass, which has been broadcast on WOKY for many years, will not be affected. It will continue to be broadcast from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist every Sunday, at 8 a.m. on AM 920.
The Mass is also broadcast on Relevant Radio at 100.1 FM and 1550 AM.

Business Administrator Report- Roy Weyker resigned from his position as trustee. Pat Pizur will fill the vacancy. Parish census-961 forms were sent out, 600 have been returned, and 15 indicated they’re no longer members. St. Mary’s is exploring the idea of applying for a grant to help fund a specific project.

"Free" Fundraisers
Pick N Save donates 1% of purchases to the non-profit of your choice when you register your Advantage Card. St. Mary's number is 789800. Just take your card to the service desk and ask them to add St. Mary's to your card. Don't have a card, you can apply for one at the service desk of any Pick'n Save.
Please save your Sentry receipts. Take them to the Parish Center or put them in the Sentry box at the back of church. Sentry will donate us 1% of the total sales.
